Kennelly, Jeremiah "Jerry", age 84.  Loving husband of Eileen (nee Scanlon).  Devoted son of the late Daniel and Kathleen (nee O'Sullivan), natives of Finnoe, Ballyhahill Co Limerick, Ireland.  Beloved father of Susan (Patrick) McInerney, Geri (Douglas Petersen), and the late Patrick Kennelly.  Adored grandfather of Kayleigh, Mary Kate, John and Cadence. Dear brother of Bridget (late Vincent) Marotta, Maureen (Leo) Peters, Daniel (Alice) and David (Maureen) Kennelly. Friend to former spouse Noreen (nee Moore). Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Jerry was an avid traveler, spending much of his time in Ireland and on walkabout in Australia.  He was blessed with a quick wit and a saying for every occasion.  He left his mark on Chicago, his adopted home, as a hardworking carpenter and home builder. In lieu of flowers, take a friend for a pint and craic.
