Jennifer Ann Thomas (nee Mateling), aged 70, passed on July 10, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents Elsie and Ronald Mateling and her daughter Dr. Maryann Bawoll (Mark). She leaves behind her husband Kevin Sr., cherished children Marjorie (Michael), Kevin (Therese), Kyle (Lindsay), and Timothy, as well siblings Nancy, Ronald, and John. She was a wonderful grandmother of 7 (Allie, Will, Henry, Molly, Emma, Jackson, Owen), and aunt and friend to many. An accomplished nurse, she was a devoted and compassionate caregiver. She loved quilting, telling a good joke or story, and hosting parties and spending time with her grandkids. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge. Interment private.
