Jeffrey Allen Stenberg, 55, passed away on October 9th, after losing his battle to non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.Jeff is the beloved husband of Gail (nee) Sanders. Loving father of Randall and Grace Stenberg, cherished son of Linette and the late Curt Stenberg, fond brother of Erik (Donna) and Lois (Timothy) Scrivens. Uncle of Nicholas Stenberg and Joseph, Christopher and Jacob Scrivens. Jeff grew up in Elmhurst and graduated from Elmhurst High School in 1983. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Elmhurst College. He worked for 30 years in the financial services industry for companies including Arthur Andersen, Discover Financial Services, and Amalgamated Bank of Chicago. Jeff loved being outdoors, spending hours tending to his garden, or enjoying a day at the beach.  He enjoyed watching Chicago sports, sipping a good lager alongside his canine companion Roxy. Jeff was an accomplished cook and enjoyed many travel adventures alongside his wife. A memorial service will be planned at a future date. Donations to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
