Jeannette L. Allen (Jay) of Chicago Illinois passed away peacefully at age 80 surrounded by family on March 23rd, 2021. Jay is survived by her son Kent Allen, his wife Denise, and her three Grandchildren Danielle, Jessica, and Ernest Allen. Jay graduated from the University of Illinois in 1963 and was a proud employee of JCPennyCompany as an advertising copywriter most of her life before retiring.
