Janice DeDecker (nee McGovern) 65, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on November 12, 2021. Beloved wife of David; loving mother of Colleen (Ted)  Rozmus and Sean (Caitlin) DeDecker, cherished Mama of Dillon, Bennett, Jacqueline, and Camden; beloved daughter of the late John and Jacqueline McGovern.  She worked at a Catholic Elementary School for 30 years, a job that suited her special skills of kindness and empathy. She adored the children that she worked with.  Her grandchildren were her life and we are so blessed to know she will always be watching over them. Services will be private.
