Jan H. Motley (nee Paziora) died peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on January 4, 2017, at the age of seventy-one. Jan is survived by her husband, Terrence Kautz; her son William J. Motley III (Cinthia Granados-Motley) and her three step-children, Kathleen Bujak (Nick), Brian Kautz (Cynthia) and Stephanie Morales (Edwin). She is also survived by six loving grandchildren, Iyanna Aguina, Emily Kautz, William J. Motley IV, Liam Bujak, Riley Bujak and Michael Peshel. Jan was born on November 11,1945 in Chicago to Eleanore and Stanley Paziora. She graduated from Lake View High School, and dedicated herself to being a mother, and later an insurance professional. She married Terry in 1999, and they have shared many common interests, including politics, books, movies, dinners in fine restaurants and trips to New York City. Jan was a woman of intelligence, class and fashion who will be greatly missed. A wake is scheduled for Friday, January 13, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Cooney Funeral Home (3918 W. Irving Park Road, Chicago, Il). In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
