James "Jimmy" Panos, 87, of Park Ridge, went to heaven on March 29, 2022. He was born in Patras, Greece on February 19, 1935. He was a devoted husband to Diane Panos (nee Spiropoulos) for 59 years. Loving father of Penny (Louis), Nick (Sharon), Georgette (Michael), and Theodora (Dan). Pappou to James, Dayna, Frank, Evan, Mariana, John, Elena, Emily, Demi, and Billy. Owner of Carson's Drive-In in Glenview for 40 years. Jimmy was an avid golfer and gardener. You could always find him by following his whistle. He was known for his generosity and kindness. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge.
