Chambers, James Vincent DePaul Jim Chambers, age 87, of Chicago; Son of the late Thomas and Nora (nee Kirby) from County Mayo; Husband of the late Patricia (nee Danaher); Father of Kathleen (Gary) Huffnagle; Karen (Jeffrey) Gylling; Connie Chambers; Proud Grandfather of Robert and Andrew Gylling; Erin and Ryan Huffnagle; Brother of Mary (the late Ed) Breitzman; the late Thomas (Carole); John (Debbie); Uncle to 8 nephews. Jim was a long term resident of Chicago, having lived on Mozart Street for over 40 years. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy (Seabees) and an active member and past commander of the American Legion Tattler Post No. 973. Jim was a graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He had an incredible mind and could solve any problem given to him. Visitation at Queen of Angels Church, 2330 W. Sunnyside Ave., Chicago, on Saturday, August 30, lying  in state at 10 am with a mass at 11:00 am.
