James A. Brun "Jim"—Formerly of Norridge. Loving husband of Grace (nee Zurlo); dear father of Mark (Carole) and Jim; proud grandfather of Amanda (Mark) Evans, Marty, and Nick; great grandfather of Jimmy, Anthony, and two on the way; uncle to many nieces and nephews. Born to the late Elizabeth and Nick Brun in Lakeview, Jim attended St. Robert Bellarmine and St. Cornelius grade school. He spent a year at Taft High School until before he moved to South Dakota where he finished at Huron, and went on to spend two years at Huron College. Jim spent most of his time in South Dakota hunting, fishing, and playing billiards, which he was very good at. Proud Veteran, James served 4 years in the Air Force during the Korean War.
