Howard H. Sersen born April 20, 1929 passed away Thursday February 26, 2015.  He was born to the late Harry S. Sersen and Bertha (Roman) Sersen.  He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Judith A. (Nelson) Sersen; along with four children: Mark (Karen Ann) Sersen, Diane (Walter) Krause, Karen (Richard) Skadow, Amy (John) Gibbons; and 6 grandchildren; Laura Krause, Casey Gibbons, Kelly Gibbons, Brooklyn Sersen, Ryan Gibbons, Holland Sersen.  Howard was a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Industrial Design.  He has been acclaimed for his Custom Creations in both Residential and Commercial Design. He was respected in all his community contributions.  He was a longtime member of Park Ridge Rotary, Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce, Park Ridge Heritage Committee and Past President of the Park Ridge Historical Society. He played an instrumental part in the Design, Restoration, and fundraising of the Campfire Girls Fountain in Hodges Park. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 9am – 10 am at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 205 N. Prospect Ave., Park Ridge, IL.  Memorial Service will follow at 10am.
