Helen G. Harkins (nee Wendt) of Black Earth, WI, Chicago IL and Fort Gratiot, MI, passed away December 3, 2017 peacefully in her sleep at age 97. She is preceded in death by her dear husband  Martin V. and son Thomas W. Harkins and all of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children Martin J. Harkins (Nancy), Mavis (Harkins) Arnold (Bob), and Mrs. Thomas (Barbara) Harkins, six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.  Visitation at Cooney Funeral Home, 3918 W. Irving Park Rd., Chicago on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. (Rosary at 8 p.m.) and Saturday 8 to 9:00 a.m.  Funeral Mass Saturday 9:30 a.m.at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 2215 W.
