Kappos, Harry G. Age 85 passed away on Monday, July 11. He was the loving husband of the late Paulette (nee Condos), loving father of George C. Kappos, devoted son of the late George and Paraskeve Kappos, dear brother of Michael (Katherine) Kappos, Mary (the late John) Gianakopouls, the late Antonia (the late Jim) Bakakos, the late Georgia (the late Tom) Chirban and the late Katherine Kappos, brother-in-law of late Koula (the late Andreas) Pierros, and fond uncle and cousin of many. He was born on May 7, 1937, in Chicago, Il. After living in Chicago, he moved to Park Ridge, then Glenview, and most recently Huntley, Il. Harry graduated from UIC Pharmaceutical School and was a pharmacist at Walgreens for over 40 years. He enjoyed cooking, especially French cuisine. He also loved traveling to Greece and France. Visitation is Thursday, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Cooney Funeral Home 625 Busse Hwy. Park Ridge. Family and friends will meet Friday morning at St. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church 1401 Wagner Road, IL 60025 for funeral service at 10:00 am. Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
