(Mary Jane) Kovach, Beverly Hobbs, Samuel Rechtoris, Jr.  Fond cousin of George J. Stephens, Jr., Winifred Peterson, Joan (Don) Peters and the late Lawrence (Joan) Hjelm.  Mechanical Engineer Degree from University of IL.  49 year employee of Stewart Warner Corp., retired as Director of Quality & Reliability.  WWII Sept 1940 with Chicago Black Horse Troop in Louisiana.  After Pearl Harbor to the Air Force to teach flying in Garden City, KS, then on to the 20th Air Force to fly B29s until August 1945 when he retired from the Air Force reserve as Lt. Colonel.  45 year active member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Park Ridge. Visitation at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy. Park Ridge on Thursday from 3 to 9 p.m.  Funeral Service Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 205 N. Prospect, Park Ridge IL.  Interment Mt. Emblem Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Luke's Church would be appreciated. .
