Grace Alyce Edwards was born on Christmas Day, 1937 to Clara Rasmussen and Robert Mawdsley in Johnson County, Iowa.  She is survived by two siblings, Betty McCalley and Paul Mawdsley of Cedar Rapids.   She was mother to Kevin Sackett (deceased), Kimberly Edwards Klytta (husband John) and Blake Edwards. She was a loving grandmother to Isabella and Alexander Klytta and special Aunt to Machelle Bryan. She was also a wonderful friend to her kitties and granddogs. Grace didn't have the best or easiest upbringing, so she dedicated her life to her children. She was loving, kind, generous, compassionate, unselfish and always put others before herself.   She was funny, silly and told the best stories.  She was an avid card player, loved crossword puzzles, sudoku and going to garage sales. She will be missed terribly by her children who adored her.
