Gertrude Mary Burns, nee Manning, age 66, of Chicago, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2023. Dear mother of Margaret (Kyle) Radke, James (Fran Palmisano), Patrick, Maureen (Willie) Hallman, Carolyn (Andrew Andrada) Burns and Christopher; beloved grandmother of Madelynn, Declan, Makenna, Rose, Beatrice, Sean, Nathan, Alexis, Everett, Edward, Isaiah, and Landon. Devoted daughter of the late Mack P. Manning & the late Mary Virginia Manning, nee Hackett; devoted sister of Loretta (Alex) Martinez, Timothy (Cathleen Quinlan), Daniel (Joan Cowie), Cecilia, Irene (Hugh) Rooney, John (Gail Ledenbach), Philip (Kristine Stengel), Kathleen (Dale) Multerer and the late Michael, the late Patrick (Peggy Bothfeld), the late Eileen (Thomas) Moore, the late Rita (John) Zajac, the late Martin, the late Margaret and the late Christopher; loving aunt to 60 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge. Funeral Friday, prayers at 9:00 a.m. going to St. Juliana Catholic Church located at 7201 N. Oketo Ave. in Chicago for Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
