Geraldine Schultz (nee Higgins), passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 in Elk Grove Village at age 87. She was the beloved wife of Robert Schultz, they were married for almost 70 years. Born in Chicago to Christopher and Marie Higgins. She was the loving mother of Christine Budzinsky (Robert), Robert Schultz, Jr. (Geraldine), Susan Schultz (Mark Lutz) and Michael Schultz. She cherished her 5 grandchildren dearly, Rebecca Schultz (Corbin Johnson), Kathryn Draznin, Mary Schultz, Brian Draznin and Karen Schultz. She also adored her 2 great grandchildren Olivia Draznin and Dylan Johnson. She was sister to Thomas Higgins and David Shore (Cathy) and preceded in death by her older brothers Christopher Higgins, Robert Higgins and her sister-in-law Harriet Higgins. She was loved by many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge. Funeral Friday, prayers at 9:30 a.m. to Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Rosemont for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
