Geraldine Ring, 86, beloved wife of the late Joseph Ring, and the late Alfred Angelini died peacefully on April 4, 2022 surrounded by her family. Loving mother of Michael (Sharon) Angelini and Fred (Kathy) Angelini; proud grandmother of Stephanie, Michael, Mark (Jessica), Anthony (Caitlin), Deanna (Scott) Johann, and Kat. Great-grandmother of Addison Angelini and Cameron Johann. Loving sister of the late Dominic Saraceno, the late Katherine (Bob) Nepras, the late Florence (Joseph) Guido, the late Joseph (Shirley) Saraceno, the late Jeanette (Dominic) Scumaci, Marie (Virgil) Yohn, the late Eugene (RoseMary) Saraceno, June Saraceno, Brenda Kline, and John Saraceno. Aunt and great aunt to many.

Geri worked as an administrative assistant, and later as a bookkeeper and sales associate at the family's business. Her passion was supporting her grandchildren at ice skating shows, dance recitals, and various park district, high school and travel sporting events and games. Her enthusiastic sprit will be missed by all.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge. We encourage visitors to wear red in honor of Geri. Funeral Thursday, prayers at 9:30 a.m. going to St. Paul of the Cross Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
