Felipe "Phil/Lipo" Gustavo Sanchez passed away unexpectedly on August 8,2021 at the age of 48. Felipe is survived by his parents, Catalina and Salvador Sanchez. Felipe is lovingly remembered by his children, Roberto (Alexis ), Felipe Jr. , Veronica, Catalina, Sebastian, and Isabella; his grandson, Leonardo; his brothers and sister; his nieces and nephews; and wife, Yolanda. Felipe was born in Chicago, IL on November 30th, 1972. He was self-employed in construction. Felipe enjoyed fishing, metal detecting and golf. He loved to be with his family. He loved living in Las Vegas and McAllen doing projects in his home. He was an entrepreneur and craftsman who shared his passion with everyone he could. He is remembered as the life of the party and jokester. He loved to dance and make those around him laugh. The visitation will be held at Cooney Funeral Home, 3918 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago IL on Friday, August 20,2021 from 4pm-8pm. The funeral service will be held at Saint Benedict Parish located at 2215 W. Irving Park Road in Chicago, IL 60618 on Saturday, August 21 at 10 am. Burial to follow at Rosehill Cemetery 5800 N Ravenswood Ave, Chicago IL 60660. Masks are required for all services.
