Rasmussen, Edwin Hans 83, of Niles, IL passed away peacefully on August 28.  Beloved husband, for 62 years, of Marylou (nee O'Connor).  Loving father of Anne Marie (Stan) Pienkowski, James (Diana), Barbara (Greg) Stack, William (Barb), Robert (Pam), Tim, Jean (Thomas) Carr, Jane (Dave) Warda and Eileen (Joe) Skrypek. Devoted grandfather of 23 and great-grandfather of 5.  Fond brother of the late William (Laverne). Brother-in-law to Geraldine and Robert Fitzgerald and the late Eileen and Donald Gillespie.  Korean War veteran and Illinois Bell retiree (32 years).   Visitation at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy., Park Ridge Friday from 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday 9:30 a.m. to Our Lady of Ransom Church. Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment private.
