Rev. Edward P. Rowland  C.M.– beloved son of the late Edward J. and Nora R. (nee Noone), special brother of Nora Margaret "Peg" (Jerry) Connolly, Mary Kay (the late Joseph) Quinlan, the late John Francis.  Dearest uncle of Margaret Fitzpatrick, Dan (Sharon) Connolly, Mary Kay(the late William) Sullivan,  Jeremiah (Nancy) and Michael L. (Jani) Connolly, Edward (Brenda) and  Thomas (Debi) Quinlan, Micki (Larry) Gess, Erin (Pepe) Lastres,  Joseph R. (Gail), Kelly and Kathy  Quinlan. Dear cousin of Vince (Linda) , Gerald and  the late Kevin McManamon. Mary (John) Doherty, the late Kevin Noone, Kathleen (Denis) Casey, Barbara (Chris) Nash, Terrance (Carrie) Noone and Gemma (Jake) Finley. Favorite nephew of many aunts and uncles from Ireland and England.  Ordained in the Vincention order of the priesthood.  Taught at DePaul Academy and Kenrick Seminary before worked on  the Mission Band for years .  He later joined the Joliet Diocese assigned to many parishes; Sacred Heart in Lombard, Holy Trinity in Westmont, St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mokena and St.  Thaddeus in Joliet  which is where he retired from at age 80.  Retired to St. John  Vianney in Naperville, IL.  Visitation Friday, lying in state at St. Mary of the Woods Church, 7033 N. Moselle, Chicago,  from 3:30 – 9:00 p.m.  Funeral Saturday, Mass of the Christian burial at 11:00 a.m.   Interment  All Saints Cemetery.  Arrangements by Cooney Funeral Home 847-685-1002
