Edward A. Christianson February 29,1928 – May 13, 2022 —beloved husband of the late Margaret (Meegan) Christianson; Loving father of Mary (Phillip) Bissell, Meegan (Timothy) Gibbons, Edward Jr. (Beth), Jennifer (Francisco) Rios, Kathleen and the late Reverend Gerard Christianson; proud and cherished grandfather of Anthony Christianson, Erin, TJ, Sean, and Anne Gibbons, Margaret and Patrick Christianson, Christian (Ashley), Andrew (Ashley), and Frankie Rios; Great-grandfather of Laurel Margaret Rios. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Susan (Vonderharr) Christianson and his siblings John, Mathilda "Tillie" Reichle, Frances Boyd, Norbert, Anna "Betty" Fortin, Gerald "Jerry", Ambrose "Ambi" and Delores "Dee" Nye; Fond uncle of many. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge.
