Edmond J. Ahern, age 64, of Chicago passed away July 8, 2020. Ed was born April 29, 1956 and was the son of Michael and Elizabeth (Mannix) Ahern; loving Husband of Sheila (O'Brien) Ahern; proud Father of Kathleen (Jonathan) Sheetz, and Colleen Ahern; doting Papa to Brooke and Bridget Sheetz; loving brother to Michael (Patricia) Ahern and Ellen (Michael) O'Brien; uncle to many and friend to countless. Preceded in death by brother Patrick Ahern and father Michael Ahern. Ed's home and heart was always open and he was the first person to help anyone in need.
