Dorothy Ann Jacoby (nee Blank), 80, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, October 9th.  Beloved daughter of the late Otto Martin Frederick Blank and Ruby Lee Carver, "Dotty" was born January 16, 1935 and married the late Norbert John "Jack" Jacoby July 23, 1955 in Chicago, IL.  Loving mother of Sandy, Robert (Amy), Tracy, and the late Joe Jacoby; Mike (Esther) Lewter; and Ken (Valerie) Darville. Doting grandmother of Angel, Chris, and Allie Jacoby; Summer and Sarah Darville, and Erin (Curtis) Stephens.  Proud great-grandmother of Nathan Stephens.  Fond mother-in-law to Mary Broome Darville.  Daughter to Pearl Becker.  Caring aunt, cousin, and friend of so many.  Dotty was a tiny woman with a huge loving heart.  She was funny, stubborn, feisty, independent, frugal but generous, and so kind.  Dotty was blessed with a sharp mind for numbers and could play piano by ear since age 4.  She enjoyed driving her car, listening to music, watching her shows, cheering on her beloved Blackhawks, Facebook-ing on her computer, caring for animals, and most of all spending time with her family.  We were always always her priority. Our interests were her interests.  Helping us gave her joy.  We are so lucky to have had her in our lives.
