Donald Robert Mundt, age 88, of Park Ridge, IL, passed away on May 26, 2021.

Donald was born in Chicago on September 24, 1932. He graduated from Lane Tech High School.  He proudly served in the Air Force during the Korean War for 4 years.  Upon his return, he began a dedicated 50-year career at Knox & Schneider Company.

Donald is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mary Ann Mundt (nee O'Connell), daughter, Kimberly (David) Lynch, son, Brian (Laurie) Mundt, grandchildren Kathryn, Kevin, Molly, Hannah, and Matthew. He is also survived by his half-brother, Kenneth Mundt.

Donald is preceded in death by his dear brother, Lester Mundt.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Cooney Funeral Home in Park Ridge from 3:00-8:00 pm. The funeral Mass will be held at St. Raymond de Penafort Church in Mount Prospect at 10 am Saturday, May 29, 2021.  Burial will follow the funeral at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Cooney Funeral Home, Park Ridge.
