Diane J. Elliott, 76 of Park Ridge, passed away suddenly on Mother's Day, May 14, 2017 with her three children by her side. Diane was born on November 20, 1940 to her wonderful parents Artha and Edward Elliott. She is survived by her children, Jennifer (John) Rabito, Chris (Carol) Bemben and Shannon Bemben, cherished Granny to Matt, Christine and Caden, loving sister to Liz, Mary and Bill, special friends to Peg and Brian Sheridan and Barbara Keifer, her loving dog Blue and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in her passing by her parents Artha and Edward, Grandma Mary, brothers Boppie and Jim and her special dog companions, Ruby, Shep and Kennedy, Shamrock and Olivia. Diane will forever be remembered for her undetermined strength and courage, overcoming many obstacles in her lifetime with fearlessness and grace. She had a heart of gold that she gave to all around her, even strangers. She was an avid animal lover, especially to dogs, birds and rabbits. The most important pride and joy she had in her life were her three children. As a single mother, she raised her three kids on her own living her life for them through unselfish and extraordinary ways.
