Daniel Foley, native of Broadford Co. Limerick, Ireland beloved husband for 61 years to Mary (nee Mulkerrin) passed peacefully on 9/4/23 at the Hines VA Hospital.  Beloved father of Mary (Liam) Higgins and Corneilus (Maura) Foley.  Grandfather to Siobhan (Martin) Campbell, Liam Higgins and Kerry Foley.  Great grandfather to Rian Gerard Campbell.  Preceded in death by his parents Cornelius and Ellen Foley along with his sisters Mary (Jack)Curtin, Josie (Denny) Morrisey, Breda (Mike) O'Donnell and Cornelius (Angela) Foley. Brother-in-law to Thomas (Nora) Mulkerrin, Patsy (Eileen) Mulkerrin, Joe Mulkerrin, Peggy (John) Reid, Bridget (Eddie) Tomkiewicz, John ( Barbara) Mulkerrin, Martin Mulkerrin.  Fond uncle and friend to many in the United States and Ireland. Visitation will be held Thursday September 7, 2023 4:00pm -8:00pm at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. Park Ridge, IL. Family and friends are asked to meet at Our Lady of Mercy, for mass at 10:00am. Interment Maryhill.
