Charles "Chuck" Cairns, age 88, beloved husband of the late Julia (nee Hernik); father of Kathleen (Pat) Thornton and Charlene; proud grandpa of Michael (Carly), Molly, Annemarie and Aileen Thornton; loving great grandpa of Maeve; dear brother of the late Lillian (the late Jim) McDonald, the late Rosemary (the late Ray) Prestopic, the late William "Skip" (Joyce), the late Emmett (Shirley) Gribbens and Dennis (Sharon) Gribbens; uncle to many special nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Mary, Seat of Wisdom Church located at 920 Granville Ave, Park Ridge on Wednesday, December 22 from 10:00 am until time of Mass at 11:00 am.
