Catalina passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 77. She was born on February 13, 1944, to Julian Velazquez & Santa Rodriguez in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico. Catalina was a Catholic who went to church every Sunday, she would love to sit and listen to the music and sing along. In 1970 Catalina met, fell in love, and married Jose Padilla Sr. They went on to have 2 wonderful sons Jose & Raymond Padilla. Catalina took pride in raising her sons. Catalina was a loving mother, sister, aunt, cousin, & grandmother.Catalina is survived by her sons, Jose Padilla his spouse Claudia Yanez, Raymond Padilla his spouse Ana Padilla, her Grandchildren, Sanet Padilla, Seiyana Padilla, Josiah Padilla, & Matthias Padilla. Her Great-grandchildren, Mateo, Kahlanie, Evander Coach & Nehemiah Padilla. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with as well as those she reached but never met. God Bless. Visitation Saturday 10 am-2 pm at Cooney Funeral Home 3918 W.
