Cara Teague Reidy departed from this earth on February 19, 2023. She was the beloved daughter of Edward (John) Reidy and Colleen Ann Jaeger; thoughtful sister to Jack Alexander Rice; stepdaughter to Lawrence (Steve) Rice; loving granddaughter to Donal and Theresa (nee O'Connor) Reidy, and Roger and Johanna (nee Brennan) Jaeger; devoted niece to April (nee Jaeger) and Paul Rudnicki, Elizabeth (nee Jaeger) and Jeffery Dore, Denis and Linda (Westmoreland) Reidy, Anne (nee Reidy) and the late Bobby Lara, Kathleen Reidy, Mark and Tomasina (nee Mantis) Reidy; eldest cousin to Charley, Molly, Chloe, and Rory Dore, Kaitlyn, Tim, Roisin, Bella, and Liam Reidy; fur cousin to Heidi (Rudnicki). Cara is also survived by countless second cousins, aunts, and uncles here in Chicago as well as in Ireland. Her heart belonged to her cat Blumpkin the Big Head Pumpkin. May you find peace Cara. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 28 from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge.
