Bret Charles Oertel Sr.--He was born on July 25, 1959 in Chicago. Survived by his wife Elizabeth Hoffman, 5 children Bret C. Oertel Jr. (Yola), Matthew Oertel (Amy) Steven Oertel (Katie), Amanda(Wayne) Woosley, Katherine(Kristopher) Shumacker. proud grandfather of Gabriel, Adan, Zachary, Austin, Olivia, Sawyer, Matthew Jr., Steven Jr., Delilah, Alexandra, Sylus, Lily, and Penelope. dear brother to Lynn Bojczuk, Sandra Morgan, and one brother Kurt Oertel; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
