Betty Ann Vogel, 79 - Beloved aunt, sister, friend, listener, house fairy, and confidant. Betty passed in peace surrounded by her many loved ones from near and far.  Sister to Marilyn (Vogel) Spietz, aunt to Trina Kakacek (John), Erin Molek (Timothy), great aunt to Elyse, McMillen, Dirk, Greta, lifelong friend to Celeste and her children Lisa, Elizabeth, Lauren and their many children, devoted friend to Virgie (predeceased), Joanie and family, and master belly-scratcher to Otto, Winston, Fritz, Archie and Mason, her adoring four-legged nephews. Born on July 20, 1942 – on the north side of Chicago to Dorothy and Irwin Vogel, Betty had Chicago sports teams, trips to Vegas, scratch-off lottery tickets, and the Hallmark channel running through her veins. She lived in a shared building with her family, and her generosity, buoyant personality, and kind spirit kept the place filled with love, laughter and created countless joyful memories. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Anti-Cruelty Society.
