IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anna Marie
Hogan
November 17, 1936 – September 16, 2025
Anna Marie Hogan Obituary
Anna Marie was born and raised in Streator, IL. Moving to Chicago, IL in her early 20's to pursue her nursing career. She spent many years working for the city of Chicago in nursing, in various capacities. She had a passion for traveling and living her life to the fullest, making memories and countless friends along the way. Through the years, she provided a loving home for her furry feline friends, they were more than just pets and they meant the
world to her. Anna Marie will be remembered for her kind heart, her quick- witted sense of humor, her vast knowledge of "Hogan" family genealogy, her
love of life, and most of all, her love for the Lord. Her family will always remember her ability to make us feel incredibly special, but in reality, she was the one who was so very special, and we are grateful she was our "Aunt Wee". She was proceeded in death by her parents, Hattie and James, her brother, Norman (sister-in-law Margaret), Jim(nephew), Kimberly (great niece), and Joanne Leck (friend). She is survived by Margaret Carol Hogan (niece), Chad Hogan (great nephew), Kellie (Keith) Kleen (great niece), Sarah Hogan (great niece), and Ella Kleen (great-great niece).
Her presence was a gift, and her absence will be felt profoundly. Though she has passed, the love she gave continues to resonate, leaving behind lasting memories that her family will carry forward with them.
