Amly Khan (nee: Esho) age 91 of Park Ridge, Illinois, beloved wife of the late Albert Youel Khan , passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children on Friday, May 27, 2022.  She was born in Iraq on February 22, 1931.  Amly and Albert along with their six children proudly immigrated to the United States of America on January 17, 1971. She is survived by her six children, Sarah (Christopher) Clarke; Margaret (Mike) Farawell; Madeline (Steve) Khan-Roberts; Souhaila (Bill) Toomire; Naila (Shane) Engelkes and Youel (Linda) Khan.  She was a loving and proud Nana to twelve; Kyle, Quinn; Kristin, Chloe, Maressa, Kathryn, Thea, Emily, Ethan, Elliott, Sydney and Aubrey.  A loving and proud Nana-Gurta to Mia, Noah and Gracie, and a special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Amly loved God,  was devoted to her family , and committed to her church,  She attended weekly Bible studies, and loved sharing stories about her past, especially her father and mother as well as her faith in God.  She will be immensely missed by all who knew her and loved her, especially her family. Visitation Tuesday, May 31st, 3-8 pm.at Cooney Funeral Home 625 Busse Hwy. Park Ridge IL. Funeral Wednesday, June 1st at 10:30 AM  at Carter-Westminster United Presbyterian Church ( 4950 Pratt Ave, Skokie, IL). Interment- Elmwood cemetery (2905 Thatcher Ave, River Grove, IL 60171).
