Albert J. Soukup Jr. - Beloved husband to Joanne Soukup for 63 years, passed away on December 25, 2020.  Loving father to Cynthia Laxner (Steven), Susan Torres (Diego Sr.), Shari Jotzat (Brian) and Angela Rivera (Hector); devoted grandfather to Tiffany (Bobby), Amber (Brent), Brian Jr., Crystal (Jorge), Desiree, Samantha, Ashley, Diego Jr., Nicholas, and Joseph; great-grandfather/Papa to 10 and great-great grandfather to 3; son of the late Albert Sr. and the late Bessie Marie; brother to the late Franklin. In his youth he loved playing basketball and softball, in his later years bowling & golf, after retirement he enjoyed spending time with family. He spent many years keeping the books & records for Bethlehem United Church of Christ in his free time.  Albert was a kind, gentle, soft spoken man who was cherished by everyone that knew him. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. followed by a service at 7:00 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge. Interment private.
