Alan Soltysik of Des Plaines, IL passed away on Thursday July 28, 2022 in his sleep at home. He had several health problems including kidney failure. This was the ultimate cause of death. He is preceded in death by his sister Louise Goes and parents Edmund and Edna Soltysik. For 50 years he was married to Mary Soltysik. Alan and Mary  have a son David, daughter-law Jessica and grandson Zack. Also Alan and Mary have a daughter Susan, son-in-law Matt and 4 other grand children (Rachel, Allison, Jonathan and Katelyn).  Alan worked as an industrial engineer. His hobbies were model trains and planes. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:30am until time of service at 11:00am at Bethel Community Church located at 7601 W. Foster Ave in Chicago.
