Adeline Krupp, of Niles, age 101, passed away on August 9, surrounded by loved ones.  Daughter of the late Bessie and John Florek, and preceded in death by her five brothers and sisters;  beloved mother of Diane (Fred), Sandy (Kevin) and Donna (Bill);  proud and cherished grandmother of Freddie, Candi, Katie (Curt), Colleen (Matt), Megan (Alex), Billy, Christina (Dillon) and Joe;  great grandmother of Cash, Addison, Ace, Holiday, Pepper, Guenivere, Fiona, Alex, Julie, Ruby and Sam;  dear friend of Mickey, Stacey, Jackie and the late Margo, Lou, Roberta and Sis.

Adeline brought joy to all of those around her, as evidenced by the abundance of friendships she accumulated throughout all of her years.  She enjoyed the simpler things in life, including puzzles, playing her slot machines and spending time with loved ones.  By leaving an impression on everyone she came across, Adeline cultivated friendships with those from all walks of life by always offering a warm smile and friendly quip.  With her contagious laugh and passion for people, Adeline had a penchant for making everyone feel seen, heard and loved.

A celebration of life will take place Thursday at Cooney Funeral Home (625 Busse Hwy in Park Ridge).  Visitation from 3-8 p.m. and a service at 7 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital would be appreciated.  Info 847-685-1002 www.cooneyfuneralhome.com
