Pierre Mounsef Obituary

Pierre Mounsef, 58, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018. He is remembered as a loving and loyal husband, father, grandfather, and friend.Pierre traveled from Lebanon to the U.S. in the early 1980’s hopeful in providing for those he loved. Through his hard work, dedication, and the support of his loving wife and children he accomplished it by baking the “best” Lebanese bread out of Chicago, IL. He was generous, loyal, and hospitable.He battled with pancreatic cancer since 2015. Through it all he endured always putting his best foot forward. He was an example of strength, courage, and perseverance. He continued to always think of those he loved and surrounded him. He fought the good fight. He leaves a legacy and memories that will always be in the hearts of those that love him and whom he came across. Pierre is survived by his wife Amira Mounsef, his three children:  George and wife Raymonda Mounsef,  Elie and wife Marielena Mounsef, and Jessica and husband Peter Magharious. He also leaves his granddaughter Elissa and Pierre Mounsef who brought him great joy along with other family and friends who he loved. Family and Friends to meet at 10 a.m.for funeral service at Our Lady of Lebanon, 950 N. Grace St., Lombard, IL, on Friday, November 16th Visitation will be Thursday, November 15th from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home 3918 W. Irving Park Rd., Chicago. Interment Maryhill Cemetery, Niles, IL.
