Mary L. Berg passed away on June 15, 2019 after losing her fight with cancer. Mary was a loving sister to Trudi (Dan) Mickey, Jennie (Mike) Fox, Norm (Leslie) Berg; Loving Aunt to Tom (Laura) Mickey, Colleen (Neal) Salah, Kristie (Andy) Jarvis, Bobby (Alexa) Mickey, Patrick Berg, Kellie (Mark) Fox, Kelsey Berg, Jimmy Mickey, Kory (Danika) Fox; and loving Great Aunt to Isabella and Joshua Mickey, Katie and Matthew Salah, Andy and Michael Jarvis, Kyler Fox, and Evelyn Mickey. Mary was fortunate to have so many great friends and neighbors throughout her life. To all of her friends, she loved you all. A special thank you to her high school club friends. She treasured her time with her Irish friends as well. Thank you to all of her family, friends, doctors, and nurses for taking care of her in her fight with cancer. Mary was a strong, independent women. She retired after working many years at ADP. Mary was an extremely active member at St. Juliana Parish. She loved singing in the choir for the Church. One of her favorite things was attending all of her nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews sporting events and activities. She taught second grade CCD for many years at St. Juliana. Mary volunteered much of her time for St. Vincent DePaul. Our lives were even more wonderful because we had Aunt Mary to share all of our important events. She was the sunshine of our family. We will miss her forever! In leu of flowers please send donations to NAMI Barrington or St. Juliana Parish.Visitation Wednesday 4- 8 p.m. at Cooney Funeral Home 625 Busse Hwy Park Ridge.
