The Walsh and McDermott Families,
We are so sad to hear of Marge's passing.  She was a beautiful woman inside and out.  She was an inspiration to all who knew her.  She was a fighter to the end.  We know that she will be missed always but she is in a great place having a family reunion in heaven with some of our family greats that have been saving her a special place.  Love, The Stenson Family.

I first met Marge when she worked for the IL National Guard Family Program back in 2004 when my son's unit deployed to Iraq. She convinced me to step up as FRG leader. After that, she convinced me to step up and apply for the position of Family Assistance Center Rep when she moved on. It is Marge I have to thank for bringing me into this whole new military involved world that I love so much. Thank you, Marge, for getting me into a whole new world! You have done more and influenced more lives down here than you know. Now may you rest in peace up there! (And I am still using the blue Chicago PD ruler she left in her old desk back in 2005! I will continue to think of her every time I use it.)

I am greatly saddened to hear of Marge's passing.   I am comforted to know she had the most supportive family I have ever encountered in  my 20 years as an internist at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.  She inspired me with her work so support research for ovarian cancer.  I will miss her greatly.

Marge's family here at the School for New Learning/DePaul University sends our sympathies. She was "mama Marge" to her graduate group, always offering encouragement and advice. I was Marge's academic mentor and she was my life mentor.  She will be deeply missed.
