Deborah A. Lucas-Stenerson

Deborah A. "Debbie" Lucas-Stenerson (née Planthaber) was born April 29, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois to John Planthaber and Frances Trippiedi. She passed away September 12, 2021. Beloved Wife of 23 years to Rick Stenerson; loving Mother of Robert Lucas and Stacey Lucas, loving Stepmother of Elle (Ethan) Pressly; Proud Grandmother of Jack and Caroline; Fond Sister of Michael (Lois) Planthaber and Nephew Michael, Nieces Jori and Juline, and Great Nieces and Nephew Leah, Willow, and Zachary. Debbie was a dog lover and loved spending time with her dog Bailey and grand dog Hailey, as well as treasured past dogs Sheba, Abby, and Morgan. She worked for over 40 years in the printing business and was beloved by her colleagues and clients. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, doting on her children, grandchildren, and dogs, and bike riding on Lake Michigan. She was lovingly referred to by her husband Rick as a “retail enthusiast”. Debbie was known for her loving personality and always going the extra mile for everyone who was blessed to have know her. Visitation will take place on Thursday from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.a. at Cooney Funeral Home located at 625 Busse Hwy. in Park Ridge. Funeral Friday, 11:30 a.m. service at Cooney Funeral Home. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
